A Book and A Look  

New free program! A Book and A Look bags examine the OMA's art treasures by artists such as Georgia O'Keeffe and engage your family with activities and discussion starters. The bags are recommended for pre-school through elementary age children.  This project is funded in part by Bright House Networks.

Art Adventures

August 23 / 9:30am. Join us for a fun play date with Mrs. Cross that uses all your senses to explore the OMA! Specially designed gallery hunts and stories make art come alive! This month's theme is "Dog Days of Summer." Find animals in art and make dogs from clay.

For Adults

Gallery Talks

August 3 / 1:30. Examine the OMA's collections with associate curator of adult programs, Jan Clanton. Tours are free with gallery admission.

 

Art's the Spark @ OMA 

August 20 / 10:30-noon. For those with memory impairment and their caregivers. This fun experience includes interactive guided tours and studio activities that offer an expressive outlet and a forum for adult dialogue. This free program was funded in part by a grant from the Funds of the Community Foundation of Central Florida, Inc., one of more than 300 charitable funds established since 1994.  Additional support has been provided by the Winter Park Health Foundation. To register for this program, call 407 896 4231 x262.

Weekly through August 19. Paint, sculpt or assemble your masterpiece this summer! Sign up for a wonderful summer camp experience at the OMA. Camps for kids in grades 1 - 9 are happening each week with a different theme. Free Summer Admission for Active Military and Bank of America Customers

OMA is participating in the Blue Star Museum Program offering free admission for all active duty military personnel and their families through Labor Day, September 5, 2011.
