Starring Stephanie Beacham
Tuesday 8 - Saturday 12 February
Evenings 7.30pm / Wed & Sat 2.30pm

Stephanie Beacham embarks on the most challenging role of her career this autumn as the celebrated diva Maria Callas. Beautiful and talented but tormented and insecure, Maria Callas took the world by storm; the general public were mesmerised as much by her talent as by her glamorous and thrilling private life. In what promises to be a rich and lavish production, Stephanie plays Maria at a time when her voice and her personal life have fallen apart and she reminisces on the triumphs and tragedies of her life and career. Rich with comedy and searing poignancy the play "exposes the passions behind the voice that gave the world goosebumps." Express

Lady Stair's House, High Street

Pick a line from one of your favourite songs. Is it funny, sweet, serious? Come to the Writer's Museum and try to illustrate the feelings which come from songs; colours, shapes, script and movement. Think about the shape of the words we use.
For booking, please contact Margaret Findlay on 0131 529 3963, or via email. For families with children aged 6 plus.
