Refresh Mind, Body, and Spirit at the Museum

You have spent an entire school year providing for others. Take time this summer to enjoy the North Carolina Museum of Art just for yourself. Whether you bring your bike to enjoy the new works of art in the Museum Park or escape from the heat in the exhibitions, we invite you to refresh and reenergize. With a variety of workshops, lectures, and guided tours, we hope to help you get ready for a new school year.

Free Workshop: Mapping Connections

Need help incorporating art into your curriculum? This free workshop will model strategies for making connections between NCMA works of art and concepts you teach in the classroom. Open to K–12 educators of all subjects.

Session is limited to 15 participants. Participants will be selected to ensure that different grade levels, content areas, and counties are represented. If you are interested in participating, please e-mail your name , grade level, subject area, county, and phone number to Ashley Weinard by July 11. Participation will be confirmed by July 15.
