PittsburghGives: "Day of Giving" on 10/13/2010

General CMP Header

Your gift on October 13th will go far to support your favorite museums!

Each year, more than one million people celebrate the joy of discovery at one of the four Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh.  These experiences and everything they lead to – family connections, self-esteem, new interests and passions, career choices, and deeper understanding about the world in which we live – would not be possible without contributions from people like you.

You can make your gift stretch even further by donating to Carnegie Museums on Pittsburgh’s
Day of Giving, October 13, 2010, when all donations made through PittsburghGives.org will receive a portion of The Pittsburgh Foundation’s $500,000 matching pool.

It is simple to participate.  Just go to PittsburghGives.org anytime on Wednesday, October 13, select Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh from the menu options of eligible non-profits, and donate securely online.

Your gift to the “Preserve the Joy” Annual Fund campaign will support the work of all four museums.  Or you may choose to direct your gift toward the designated program at one of our four museums:

  • Science on the Road at Carnegie Science Center
  • ArtStart at Carnegie Museum of Art
  • Dinosaurs in Their Time (maintenance and upgrades) at Carnegie Museum of Natural History
  • Pittsburgh Cares at The Andy Warhol Museum.

Learn more about each of these programs at PittsburghGives.org when you click on Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh.

Please plan to set aside a few minutes on Wednesday, October 13, to make a gift that truly will make an impact on the lives of others.

Sincerely,

Dolly Ellenberg

P.S. If you have already made a 2010 gift, thank you very much. Please consider making an additional gift to take advantage of this unique opportunity.
