Did you ever wonder how the Museum’s collection was formed?  Discover the colorful story behind some of the Museum’s largest donors of art such as the Putnam sisters, the Timken family, Archer Huntington, and Alma Spreckels, and the role played by the Museum’s first Director, Reginald Poland.  This lecture with Dr. James Grebl features Connections: Reginald Poland and the Donors of The San Diego Museum of Art’s Collection, 1925-1950.
