In the Galleries
Ed Ruscha created Scratches on the Film to resemble celluloid from the glamorous days of old Hollywood disintegrating into a fuzzy, sepia-toned nothingness, a bittersweet reminder of things past. See it in the Museum's West Building.
As this transformative year winds down, we remember all the Museum milestones of 2010—from the grand opening of West Building and dedication of the Pond to landmark acquisitions and the reopening of East Building. Thank you for being a part of a pivotal year in the Museum’s history. | Holiday Hours The Museum will be closed December 24 and 25 but will reopen on December 26.
Also, for the first time, we will be open New Year’s Day, so stop by to start 2011 with us!
