Genius Within: The Inner Life of Glenn GouldGlenn Gould
Friday 21 - Thursday 27 January

Given that Glenn Gould was one of the most closely chronicled cultural icons of the last century, directors Michèle Hozer and Peter Raymont have done an astonishing job in turning up fresh footage to illustrate the life of the enigmatic pianist. This documentary is a justly respectful and comprehensive testament to a sadly brief but endlessly fascinating life. Find out more and book online here.

Starring Stephanie Beacham
Tuesday 8 - Saturday 12 February
Evenings 7.30pm / Wed & Sat 2.30pm

Stephanie Beacham embarks on the most challenging role of her career this autumn as the celebrated diva Maria Callas. Beautiful and talented but tormented and insecure, Maria Callas took the world by storm; the general public were mesmerised as much by her talent as by her glamorous and thrilling private life. In what promises to be a rich and lavish production, Stephanie plays Maria at a time when her voice and her personal life have fallen apart and she reminisces on the triumphs and tragedies of her life and career. Rich with comedy and searing poignancy the play "exposes the passions behind the voice that gave the world goosebumps." Express
