A Passion for Western Art
One of the artists featured in our April issue, John Fawcett, has a penchant for western art. He splits his time between Colorado and Pennsylvania and works in both oil and watercolor. His passion for the West shines through in his paintings of Native Americans on the prairie, horses, and cowboys. He painted TIME TO REFLECT in watercolor near Willow Creek, which runs through his ranch in Colorado. "The cowboy has ridden all day and he's coming home. The horses are tired. It's the relaxation after a long ride," he explains.
