Powerful Watercolor Landscapes!

Date: 5.25.11 |  Time: 1pm EDT  |  Cost: FREE

In this FREE online event, join artist and long-time workshop instructor, Catherine Gill as she shares her strategies for interpreting the landscape in new ways, giving you the tools you need to create landscapes with impact, before you even pick up a brush! Catherine, along with writer, Beth Means, will pull lessons from their North Light book, Powerful Watercolor Landscapes, to help you:

  • break down a landscape into manageable parts
  • design a strong painting with shapes and values
  • make color the heart & soul of your painting
  • mix a wide range of greens
  • and more!
These strategies can be applied to working on location and from photos--helping make your paintings powerful, both in design and color. The powerpoint presentation wraps up with a Q&A session where you'll have a chance to ask Catherine and Beth questions.
