Sure, you like drawing, taking pictures or making movies. But your work's not really good enough for the real world, right? Wrong! Art Center College of Design's Saturday High is a program that helps high school students (grades 9 through 12) become better artists, designers and thinkers. Whether you're mapping out your future or just taking a course for fun, our award-winning instructors can give you the skills, knowledge and confidence you need to make things happen. Just ask Olivia Crawford, a recent graduate of Polytechnic School, who took Photography 2 with David Sotelo and Evah Hart twice while in high school. An ad agency discovered her work on Flickr and asked her to be involved with Nike Sportswear's "Look of Sport" campaign, featuring photographs of athletic and stylish individuals from Los Angeles captured in their element. "I'm normally very self-critical," says Olivia, who adds that Nike wanted the photographs to be shot authentically and in her personal style. "But in David and Evah's class I learned to trust myself. So I was comfortable enough to shoot the pictures and come up with something great." Ready to make something great of your own? | Saturday High classes are offered in the following disciplines:
