For fans of abstraction, look no further than the vivid and contemporary work of Diana Braescu, an artist who understands how to use colour and form combination as a weapon to attack the viewer. Her allegory of music, in particular, caught my eye, but maybe you will prefer her other striking work. The bright, crisp colours of a new beginning are captured wonderfully by the hand of Ioan Popei, who manages to paint abstract concepts with a talented hand.
