| Walker Open Field and Machine Project present  July 18-29
Join us for two weeks of experiments and surprises! The loose confederacy of L.A.-based artists known as Machine Project animates Walker Open Field in the form of eclectic workshops, intimate performances, and questionable surprises. Summer Jubilee will involve a poetry phone, invisible performances, an opera for dogs, sheep, lawnmowers, pickles, noise machines, or any combinations thereof. Part of the fun of this group is expecting the unexpected―serendipity and spontaneity are a couple of their chief operating principles.
