Mud Across the Museum

For Marvelous Mud: Clay Around the World we dug deep and created eight exhibitions that demonstrate how artists have utilized clay across the globe and throughout time. Explore China's fabled blue-and-white ceramics, peep at Dirty Pictures, and have your expectations of clay shattered by the contemporary installations in Overthrown: Clay Without Limits. Take a visit or two to peruse the galleries and find your favorite use of this material.

Don't miss the Mud Studio, our hands-on workshop space. At all times you can play on a pottery wheel, learn to hand-build, and look inside a kiln. Each weekend, check out live artist demonstrations.

Thanks to all of our community partners. Visit our Marvelous Mud partner page to find special deals around town.
