After decades of civil war, corruption, and economic turmoil, the Democratic Republic of the Congo is producing tense and cathartic art with themes that are universal and deeply human. Join us for a weekend celebration of dance, music, and film, featuring a performance by choreographer Faustin Linyekula and Studios Kabako with pop guitarist Flamme Kapaya, and a documentary on Staff Benda Bilili, street musicians turned international sensations.
