Barnes & Noble bookfair to benefit the Orlando Museum of Art 

October 2 - 7, 2011

Expand your library with books inspired by the Orlando Museum of Art's (OMA's) collections and exhibitions, or even start your holiday shopping early with Barnes & Noble's vast selection of books, DVDs, educational toys and games, CDs, and gifts and the OMA will receive a donation of up to 20 percent of your purchases!   
 
There are three ways to participate:  


In Barnes & Noble stores 
 
Saturday, October 2
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.     OMA bookfair event at the Barnes & Noble, Colonial Plaza store
Join us for an art-filled day at Barnes & Noble and all of your purchases will benefit the OMA.
 

Enjoy:    Public readings of works by literary artist Edward Gorey
              Local visual artists creating works of art
              Make-and-take art projects for kids of all ages and OMA goodie bags
              Tarot card fortune telling
              Character face painting inspired by the OMA
              Special giveaways including OMA tickets and merchandise

Or shop at any Barnes & Noble store location and show the special voucher above at checkout.

1:30 p.m.     Storybook Tour at the Orlando Museum of Art
Join us for story time to hear Halloween Hats by Elizabeth Winthrop, and parade through the museum on our trick-or-treat scavenger hunt before we head to the studio to make boo-tiful Halloween hats! Come in a costume if you wish!

$10 per adult, $8 per OMA member; first child free, $3 per additional child. Pre-registration required. Please call 407-896-4231 x262 to register.
