THURS, OCT 7, 5–9 PM
LECTURE*: 6:15 PM

See the objects you use every day like never before! The 200 quintessential contemporary objects in European Design Since 1985: Shaping the New Century are thoughtfully designed works that have the power to inspire, please, and confound. Join us, and featured speaker R. Craig Miller, curator of design arts at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, to celebrate the technical innovations and artistic creativity of the designers who challenged the status quo. Look around you: the light fixture, that vase, those chairs, a vacuum—these are not just objects.

*Lecture is ticketed. Tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 5 p.m. See calendar listing for more details.
