Join professional artist and fine art professor Cathy Locke on a spectacular adventure through Russia's best galleries, museums, cathedrals, and palaces to savour some of the finest and most diverse collections of art in the world. This meticulously crafted itinerary is a tour-de-force showcase of all the forms, genres, schools and movements that took root and flourished in one of the most rewarding destinations in Eurasia, with artworks dating from Russia's Silver Age to contemporary times. We will visit four major museums, as well as top galleries in Moscow and St. Petersburg. You will see artwork that has not been seen by most people in the western world. City tours of Moscow and St Petersburg, and visits to the Kremlin to Catherine's Amber Room, bring culture and history to life and enhance our appreciation of this abundant destination.
