Mark your calendars for an amazing community celebration of Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso, Paris.

Children 12 and under receive FREE admission to the SAM galleries when accompanied by a paying adult. Buy your tickets online.

Family Festival

This is a play date you won't want to miss!

Date: 10/16/2010
Time: 10 am–3 pm
Location: SAM Downtown

The first 300 adults accompanied by children 12 and under get in free! Tickets for the Family Festival will be distributed at 10 am on the corner of 1st Avenue and University Street entrance (near the Hammering Man sculpture). Available on a first-come, first-served basis.

All Day Art Making:

Art making, kids tours, face painting, games and music all in celebration of the opening of the new Picasso show.

Live Performances:

11 am Garfield High School Jazz Quintet
12 pm Yellow Hat Band
1 pm Recess Monkey
2 pm Caspar Babypants, Music of Remembrance

Educator Open House

The first 500 teachers to arrive on October 16 get a "sneak peek" of the Picasso exhibition for free!

Tickets for the Educator Open House will be distributed at 8:30 am at the 1st Avenue and University Street entrance (near the Hammering Man sculpture). Available on a first-come, first-served basis. Teachers must present a valid school ID to take advantage of this opportunity.
