| Swing by the DAM this month to see all the new artwork on view. Explore the Hamilton Building and discover new Oceanic art objects on level three with an expanded focus on faces and figures. On level four in our Fuse Box gallery, Boulder-based artist Mark Amerika presents Immobilité, the world's first feature-length film shot with a mobile phone. Head over to the North Building and check out What Is Modern?, the new exhibit from our design collection. Next head up to level six and visit our opulent bureau Mazarin, a desk from the 17th century that demonstrates the over-the-top style of Louis XIV.

| Opening Soon: Robert Benjamin | Fort Collins-based artist Robert Benjamin thinks of himself as just a dad with a camera. In our new exhibition Robert Benjamin: Notes from a Quiet Life, opening November 13, he shares everyday moments of his family and hopes to inspire others with these common experiences. Curator Eric Paddock dishes on the photos. "The sheer magical presence of the people and things in his photographs remind me of the beauty any of us can find in everyday life, if we aren't too caught up in other things to stop and really look."

| Our New Online Community | Join the Collective, our new online community for art lovers and creatives that lets you create, converse, and connect with like-minded people.
On our behind-the-scenes blog, learn about the rediscovered Rembrandt, read an artist interview, or discover why we have three deep freezers. Digital DIY's are creative mini-missions you can choose to accept. Upload and share your expressive self-portrait à la Rembrandt. Get the scoop on Demo and Do, our pint-sized apprenticeships. Master artists and crafters set up shop in the museum where they demo, and you do.
Get the latest on a selection of one-of-a-kind happenings at the DAM and with our Collective members. Be on the inside track for our final Friday mixed-media events, Untitled. On hiatus for the winter, but back, and better than ever, this January.
