Art for the New Year
Happy new year! We can think of no better way to welcome 2011 than by attending the annual Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, CO, which opens with a red-carpet reception on January 5 and is open to the public through January 23. The show is notable for its exciting mix of traditional and contemporary artists. This year's featured artist is Colorado sculptor Steve Kestrel, whose "Gator Egg" is shown here.
