| Cities of Splendor Opens April 10
| Explore the art of the Italian Renaissance—and the sumptuous settings where it was created—through more than 50 artworks, including paintings, textiles, and decorative arts. Cities of Splendor: A Journey Through Renaissance Italy takes you to Italy during the late 15th and early 16th centuries. Travel through Florence, Siena, Mantua, Venice, Milan, and across the Italian Alps, and discover the contribution of each region—such as the Florentine love for rational perspective and drawing, the Mantuan passion for classical antiquity, and the Venetian taste for color and tonalities. DAM members get a sneak peek April 9. Not a member? Join today. Don't miss your chance to meet our Italian influence, curator Angelica Daneo, at a special lecture April 21.
