"I will tell you a fairy tale. Once upon a time there was a prince called Jason who fell terribly in love with a princess called Medea. So, she had two children..."

Medea's Children, by Suzanne Osten and Per Lysander, is a landmark play in Swedish theatre - it is the story, told in a playful, humorous and challenging way, of a family who manage to go through divorce realising that life must go on.  The play explores the classic Greek text from the children's perspective and has become a modern Swedish classic in its own right. Produced by renowned inclusive theatre specialists, and CATS award winning, Lung Ha's Theatre Company and the internationally renowned Unga Klara, Medea's Children is part of the 2011 Made in Scotland* showcase at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2011. Recommended for audiences aged 8+, children should be accompanied by an adult.
