A Visual Feast in Denver This Weekend The American Art Invitational show happens every other year, and it opens this Friday at Saks Galleries in Denver's Cherry Creek North neighborhood. Works by 42 prominent artists are featured, including figurative, landscape, and still-life subjects (that's "Fall" by Mary Qian above). "There is currently no other showcase that is as far-reaching when it comes to the top representational artists in America," says gallery co-owner Catherine Saks.
