Balboa Park December Nights Friday and Saturday, December 3 and 4 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Museum will be closed during the day Free Join us in the Park this Friday or Saturday for San Diego's favorite kick-off to the holiday season. In the spirit of the season, museums throughout Balboa Park open their doors free of charge from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. each evening as visitors enjoy entertainment, wonderful food, and holiday cheer throughout the park. This year, enjoy musical performances at The San Diego Museum of Art in the Hibben Gallery by some of San Diego's most beloved choral groups.  Judy Chicago on Frida Kahlo James S. Copley Auditorium Wednesday, December 8 7:00 p.m. $7 members, students, military, seniors $12 nonmembers Artist and author Judy Chicago will be discussing her new book Frida Kahlo: Face to Face. Chicago will provide commentary on Kahlo's iconic works, ultimately making for a dynamic reconsideration of her art and emphasizing her contemporary significance.
