A host of exciting, art-centric programming will complement our upcoming exhibition, Cities of Splendor: A Journey Through Renaissance Italy, opening April 10. Get ready to tour Italy—without a passport!


In April and May, Cities of Splendor curator Angelica Daneo teams up with local experts to explore a theme related to Renaissance Italy. Registration is now open.

Cities of Splendor: Art & Wine Pairing
April 22, 7:30–9 pm

Local wine expert Gabriel Rooney of Divino Wine and Spirits helps you develop a taste for Italian wine and art, complete with a wine tasting.

Cities of Splendor: Art & Music Pairing
May 13, 7:30–9 pm

The Boulder Renaissance Project chorale brings you the art and sounds of Renaissance Italy with an in-gallery tour and performance.

Cities of Splendor: Art & Perfume Pairing
May 20, 7:30–9 pm
Expert perfumer Dawn Spencer Hurwitz delivers a treat for the eyes and nose by bringing to life the sights and scents of Italy.
Armchair Travel Course
Saturdays, April 16–May 7
Sit back and go on an art historical journey touring the Italian regions highlighted in the exhibition Cities of Splendor with art historian Giulia Bernardini. This four-part course will take you from Milan to Florence, to Sienna, and beyond.
