Explore the perceptions, depictions, and conditions of/for the women of our time, especially in regards to the women of Gainsborough’s portraits, at this panel discussion held in conjunction with the exhibition Thomas Gainsborough and The Modern Woman.

Malashock Dance Presents The Floating World

A multi-disciplinary dance performance that incorporates music and video projection, The Floating World celebrates and re-imagines some of the narratives found in the ukiyo-e prints on view in Dreams and Diversions: 250 Years of Japanese Woodblock Prints. In addition to the choreography of John Malashock, The Floating World will feature the work of video artist Tara Knight, the music of Zoe Keating, and costumes by Zandra Rhodes.
Note: Opening Night tickets are exclusively available through Malashock Dance.

Summer Camp at the Museum

$150 Museum Members/ $200 Nonmembers


Develop your child’s creativity in a fun and stimulating environment during a week-long, half day Museum Art School summer camp.  Camp classes are led by artist instructors and will include art activities that explore a variety of media, as well as visits to the Museum to view the exhibitions.
