Outdoor Cinema Special Exhibitions30 Americans Children, Teens, and Family EventsFrom preschool to high school and beyond, the Museum has events for all ages this summer. New! Sketchbook Saturdays Saturdays, June 4, July 23, August 20 | 10:30 am Tweens and teens learn how to keep their own artist sketchbook while being inspired by works of art on display. Registration is required for this new program; sign up for one session or all three. Family Fun Saturdays: Awesomely Abstract, Art in the Park Saturdays, June 11, June 18 | 10 am and 1 pm Discover and create abstract art with the whole family, or take a trek into the Museum Park to tap into your creative energy. These workshops fill up fast—reserve your spot today! Wonderful Wednesdays: Great Stories for Young Folks Wednesday, June 15 | 1 pm Experience the art of storytelling through rhyme with Gran’daddy Junebug, whose “sto’etry” combines whimsy and moral tales to the delight of kids and adults. High School Digital Photography Workshop Monday–Friday, June 20–24 | 1–5 pm Teen photographers get acquainted with art at the Museum, take their own photographs, and learn how to digitally manipulate images in this weeklong camp.
