Dear omss, To be a nonprofit arts organization in this day and age is no easy feat. Intuit going strong for 20 years only happens because of the help we get from our supporters. Show your support today by joining our $20,000 for our 20th Birthday campaign. We are an ambitious group with an ambitious goal, but we won't quit it until we hit it!
Also, be sure to mark your calendars. Intuit will be closing early this Saturday, September 3rd at 3pm to de-install Esta Chido Todo. Enjoy your holiday weekend! |

| Known for his intricate paintings, this piece by Drossos Skyllas gives the viewer an intimate look into the life of the artist. An original letter about his rendition of The Last Supper (a work that was never completed), the artist asks the reader to write letters of support to those who might be interested in such a painting. He writes, "The names of the people who will help me to achieve my dream will be written by me in a preserved corner of this painting and will be read for centuries to come, and this is a promise." Always the dreamer, Skyllas sought prices upwards of $25,000 for his work and therefore never sold any of his 35 paintings during his lifetime. Read Skyllas' own words, on display during You Better Be Listening: Text in Self-Taught Art. Drossos Skyllas, Untitled (Letter), Gift of Phyllis Kind |
